أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَتَّابٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَوَّامِ الرِّيَاحِيُّ ثنا قُرَيْشُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ثنا أَشْعَثُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْمُثَنَّى مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ثنا يُونُسُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ صَعْصَعَةَ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي ذَرٍّ مَا مَالُكَ؟ قَالَ مَالِي عَمَلِي قَالَ قُلْتُ حَدِّثْنِي قَالَ نَعَمْ

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يُنْفِقُ مِنْ كُلِّ مَالٍ لَهُ زَوْجَيْنِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا اسْتَقْبَلَتْهُ حَجَبَةُ الْجَنَّةِ كُلُّهُمْ يَدْعُوهُ إِلَى مَا عِنْدَهُ» قَالَ قُلْتُ وَكَيْفَ ذَاكَ؟ قَالَ «إِنْ كَانَ رِجَالًا فَرَجُلَيْنِ وَإِنْ كَانَ إِبِلًا فَبَعِيرَيْنِ وَإِنْ كَانَ بَقَرًا فَبَقَرَتَيْنِ»

✧ Abū Hurayrah ؓ reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: "No servant spends a pair of every kind of his wealth in the way of Allah except that the keepers of Paradise meet him, each calling him to what they have." I (the narrator) asked: "How is that?" He said: "If it is men, then two men; if camels, then two camels; if cattle, then two cows."
