حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو هَانِئٍ

عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْجَنْبِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا فَضَالَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «أَنَا زَعِيمٌ وَالزَّعِيمُ الْحَمِيلُ لِمَنْ آمَنَ وَأَسْلَمَ وَجَاهَدَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِبَيْتٍ فِي رَبَضِ الْجَنَّةِ وَبِبَيْتٍ فِي وَسَطِ الْجَنَّةِ وَأَنَا زَعِيمٌ لِمَنْ آمَنَ بِبَيْتٍ فِي وَسَطِ الْجَنَّةِ وَأَنَا زَعِيمٌ لِمَنْ آمَنَ وَأَسْلَمَ وَهَاجَرَ بِبَيْتٍ فِي رَبَضِ الْجَنَّةِ وَبِبَيْتٍ فِي وَسَطِ الْجَنَّةِ وَبِبَيْتٍ فِي أَعْلَى الْجَنَّةِ مَنْ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ فَلَمْ يَدَعْ لِلْخَيْرِ مَطْلَبًا وَلَا مِنَ الشَّرِّ مَهْرَبًا يَمُوتُ حَيْثُ شَاءَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ»

Translation

✧ From 'Amr b. Malik al-Janbi that he heard Abu Fadalah b. 'Ubayd say: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'I am the guarantor, and the guarantor is the one who bears responsibility, for the one who believes and submits and strives in the path of Allah, of a house in the outskirts of Paradise and a house in the middle of Paradise. And I am the guarantor for the one who believes of a house in the middle of Paradise. And I am the guarantor for the one who believes and submits and emigrates of a house in the outskirts of Paradise and a house in the middle of Paradise and a house in the highest part of Paradise. Whoever does that and leaves no avenue of good untaken and no escape from evil unheeded, he may die wherever he wishes to die.'
