حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ أَنْبَأَ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ قَالَ
لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَتَعْلَمُ أَوَّلَ زُمْرَةٍ تَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي؟» قَالَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ فَقَالَ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ يَأْتُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلَى بَابِ الْجَنَّةِ وَيَسْتَفْتِحُونَ فَيَقُولُ لَهُمُ الْخَزَنَةُ أَوَ قَدْ حُوسِبْتُمْ فَيَقُولُونَ بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ نُحَاسَبُ وَإِنَّمَا كَانَتْ أَسْيَافُنَا عَلَى عَوَاتِقِنَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ حَتَّى مِتْنَا عَلَى ذَلِكَ قَالَ فَيُفْتَحُ لَهُمْ فَيَقِيلُونَ فِيهِ أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَهَا النَّاسُ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: 'Do you know the first group from my Ummah to enter Paradise?' He said, 'Allah and His Messenger know best.' He said, 'The emigrants will come on the Day of Resurrection to the gate of Paradise and seek to open it. The keepers will say to them, "Have you been brought to account?" They will say, "For what would we be brought to account? Our swords were upon our shoulders in the path of Allah until we died upon that."' He said, 'So it will be opened for them, and they will rest therein for forty years before the people enter it.'
