أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَسَّانَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ التَّنُوخِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَكْحُولًا يَقُولُ ثنا نَافِعُ بْنُ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُفَرَّقَ بَيْنَ الْأُمِّ وَوَلَدِهَا فَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِلَى مَتَى؟ قَالَ «حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ الْغُلَامُ وَتَحِيضَ الْجَارِيَةُ»

✧ He heard Ubadah b. al-Samit say: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade separating a mother from her child. It was asked: O Messenger of Allah, until when? He said: "Until the boy reaches puberty and the girl menstruates."
