✧ As for the saying of Abu Hurayrah

أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَاضِي بِهِ وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ

«نَهَى أَنْ تُبَاعَ السِّلَعُ حَيْثُ تُشْتَرَى حَتَّى يَحُوزَهَا الَّذِي اشْتَرَاهَا إِلَى رَحْلِهِ وَإِنْ كَانَ لِيَبْعَثُ رِجَالًا فَيَضْرِبُونَا عَلَى ذَلِكَ»

✧ He forbade that goods be sold where they are bought until the buyer takes possession of them to his own camp. Indeed, he would send men who would beat us for that.
