أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَ أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ يَقُولُ كَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ تَدَّانُ فَقِيلَ لَهَا مَا لَكِ وَالدَّيْنِ؟ قَالَتْ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ كَانَتْ لَهُ نِيَّةٌ فِي أَدَاءِ دَيْنِهِ إِلَّا كَانَ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ عَوْنٌ فَأَنَا أَلْتَمِسُ ذَلِكَ الْعَوْنَ» وَشَاهِدُهُ حَدِيثُ مَيْمُونَةَ

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “There is no servant who has the intention to repay his debt except that he has help from Allah, so I seek that help.” And its witness is the hadith of Maymunah.
