فَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ثنا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ وَفِطْرُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ رَجَاءٍ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ ضَمْعَجٍ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «زَيِّنُوا الْقُرْآنَ بِأَصْوَاتِكُمْ» «ثُمَّ نَظَرْنَا فَوَجَدْنَا لِطَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ مُتَابِعَيْنِ فِي رِوَايَتِهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ وَهُمَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عُتَيْبَةَ وَزُبَيْدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Adorn the Quran with your voices.' Then we looked and found for Talhah b. Musarrif two corroborating narrators in his transmission from 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Awsajah: al-Hakam b. 'Utaybah and Zubayd b. al-Harith.
