✧ As for the story of Ubaidullah b. al-Akhnas

فَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ غَزْوَانَ أَبُو نُوحٍ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْأَخْنَسِ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ» وَرَوَاهُ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مُرَّةَ الثَّقَفِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ عَنْ عِسْلِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَرَوَى الْحَارِثُ بِهَذَا السَّنَدِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

  5. Ibn ʿAbbās

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'He is not one of us who does not chant the Qur'an.' Al-Harith b. Murrah al-Thaqafi al-Basri narrated it from 'Isl b. Sufyan, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, from Aishah, from the Prophet ﷺ. And al-Harith narrated with this chain from Ibn Abbas.
