✧ As for the story of Samurah b. Jundub

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ الْفَقِيهُ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِيمَا يَحْكِي عَنْ رَبِّهِ ﷻ قَالَ

«الْكِبْرِيَاءُ رِدَائِي فَمَنْ نَازَعَنِي رِدَائِي قَصَمْتُهُ»
