✧ A Bedouin came, made his riding camel kneel down, then hobbled it, and prayed behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the salutation, he went to his camel, untied its hobble, mounted it, then called out: 'O Allah, have mercy on me and Muhammad, and do not associate anyone with us in Your mercy.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "What do you say? Is he more astray or his camel? Did you not hear what he said?" They said: 'Yes.' He said: "He has restricted a vast mercy. Allah created one hundred mercies and sent down one mercy by which creatures show compassion to one another—its jinn, humans, and beasts—while with Him are ninety-nine. Do you say he is more astray or his camel?"
