حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عِيَاضُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْفِهْرِيُّ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَنْتَ الْمَنَّانُ بَدِيعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «لَقَدْ كَادَ يَدْعُو اللَّهَ بِاسْمِهِ الَّذِي إِذَا دُعِيَ بِهِ أَجَابَ وَإِذَا سُئِلَ بِهِ أَعْطَى»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard a man saying: 'O Allah, I ask You by the fact that praise is Yours, there is no god but You, You are the Bestower, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Possessor of majesty and honor. I ask You for Paradise and seek refuge in You from the Fire.' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'He has called upon Allah by His name by which, when called upon, He answers, and when asked by it, He gives.'
