✧ From ʿĀʾishah; I heard her say: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ got up, put on his clothes, and went out.” So I ordered my slave girl Barīrah to follow him and see where he went. She followed him until “he came to al-Baqīʿ and stood at its nearest part as long as Allah willed him to stand, then he turned back.” Barīrah preceded him and informed me. ʿĀʾishah said: I did not mention anything of that to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until morning, when I mentioned it to him. He said, “I was sent to the people of al-Baqīʿ to pray over them.”
