أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ أَنْبَأَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زِيَادٍ أَنْبَأَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ وَعَبْدُ الْمَجِيدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَقُولُ
«لَيْسَ مِنْ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا عَلَيْهِ حَجَّةٌ وَعُمْرَةٌ وَاجِبَتَانِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَى ذَلِكَ سَبِيلًا فَمَنْ زَادَ بَعْدَهَا شَيْئًا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ وَتَطَوُّعٌ»
