✧ I went in the morning with Abdullah b. Mas'ud from Mina to Arafah. Abdullah was a dark-skinned man with two braids, having the mark of the desert dwellers, and he was reciting the talbiyah. A group of people gathered around him and said, "O Bedouin, this is not a day for talbiyah; it is a day for takbir." He said, "At that, he turned to me and said, 'Have the people become ignorant or forgotten? By the One who sent Muhammad ﷺ with the truth, I went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from Mina to Arafah, and he did not stop the talbiyah until he threw the Jamrah, except that he would mix it with takbir or tahlil.'"
