حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أَنْبَأَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ثنا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ
كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ احْفَظُوا هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ وَكَانَ يَرْفَعْهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَكَانَ يَدْعُو بِهِ بَيْنَ الرُّكْنَيْنِ «رَبِّ قَنِّعْنِي بِمَا رَزَقْتَنِي وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ وَاخْلُفْ عَلَى كُلِّ غَائِبَةٍ لِي بِخَيْرٍ»

✧ Ibn ʿAbbās used to say: Preserve this hadith, and he would trace it back to the Prophet ﷺ, and he would supplicate with it between the two corners: "O Lord, make me content with what You have provided me, bless it for me, and replace every absent thing of mine with good."
