حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ قَالَ قُرِئَ عَلَى أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ وَأَنَا أَنْظُرُ فِي هَذَا الْكِتَابِ فَأَقَرَّ بِهِ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
«اغْتَسَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ لَبِسَ ثِيَابَهُ فَلَمَّا أَتَى ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَعَدَ عَلَى بَعِيرِهِ فَلَمَّا اسْتَوَى بِهِ عَلَى الْبَيْدَاءِ أَحْرَمَ بِالْحَجِّ»

✧ “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ghusl, then put on his clothes. When he reached Dhū al-Ḥulayfah, he prayed two rak‘ahs, then sat on his camel. When he was upright on it on the open desert (al-Baydā’), he entered into ihrām for the Ḥajj.”
