Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Abū Bakr b. Abū Naṣr al-Marwazī
  2. Aḥmad b. ʿĪsá

✧ Al-Qaʿnabī narrated to us, in what was read to Mālik, from Zayd b. Aslam, from ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār, that the Messenger of God ﷺ said: “Charity is not lawful except for five,” and he mentioned the hadith. This is according to my condition in the preface of the book that it is authentic, for Mālik may send it as mursal, but a trustworthy narrator connects it and gives it a chain, and the decisive statement is the statement of the trustworthy narrator who connects it and gives it a chain.
