حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْحَارِثِيُّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ السَّلُولِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الطَّائِفِيُّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ يَرْفَعُ صَوْتَهُ بِالذِّكْرِ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ لَوْ أَنَّ هَذَا خَفَضَ مِنْ صَوْتِهِ فَقَالَ

رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «فَإِنَّهُ أَوَّاهٌ» قَالَ فَمَاتَ فَرَأَى رَجُلٌ نَارًا فِي قَبْرِهِ فَأَتَاهُ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِيهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ «هَلُمُّوا إِلَى صَاحِبَكُمْ» فَإِذَا هُوَ الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي كَانَ يَرْفَعُ صَوْتَهُ بِالذِّكْرِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Indeed he is awwah (one who sighs).' He said, then he died, and a man saw fire in his grave, so he came to it, and behold, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in it, and he was saying, 'Come to your companion.' And behold, it was the man who used to raise his voice in remembrance.
