Notes

machine translation"This ḥadīth has a sound chain (ṣaḥīḥ al-isnād) according to the condition of al-Bukhārī, for he relied in the Ṣaḥīḥ on the ḥadīth of al-Muʿtamir, from Saʿīd b. ʿUbayd Allāh, from Ziyād b. Jubayr, from Jubayr b. Ḥayyah, from al-Mughīrah, the long ḥadīth." And its corroboration (shāhid) is these ḥadīths: the ḥadīth of Ismāʿīl b. Muslim al-Makkī, from Abū al-Zubayr.

machine translationZiyād b. Jubayr narrates it from his father, and there is disagreement about it from him. Saʿīd b. ʿUbaydullāh al-Thaqafī al-Jubayrī and his brother al-Mughīrah b. ʿUbaydullāh narrated it from Ziyād b. Jubayr as raised to the Prophet (marfūʿ). Yūnus b. ʿUbayd narrated it from Ziyād b. Jubayr, and there is disagreement about it from him: ʿAbdullāh b. Bakr al-Muzanī raised it from Yūnus. Qabīṣah narrated it from al-Thawrī from Yūnus and was uncertain about whether it was raised. The rest narrated it from Yūnus as stopped at a Companion (mawqūf), except that Ibn ʿUlayyah and ʿAnbasah b. ʿAbd al-Wāḥid said from Yūnus: "The family of Ziyād raise it." Yūnus said: "As for me, I do not remember it being raised."
