✧ I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during a journey praying the Duha voluntary prayer, eight rak'ahs. When he finished, he said, "I prayed a prayer of desire and fear, and I asked my Lord for three things. He granted me two and withheld one. I asked Him not to destroy my nation by famine, and He did so; I asked Him not to give their enemy dominance over them, and He did so; and I asked Him not to make them into factions, and He refused me."
