أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ السَّيَّارِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْغَزَّالُ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
أَصْبَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَوْمًا فَدَعَا بِلَالًا فَقَالَ «يَا بِلَالُ بِمَ سَبَقْتَنِي إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ؟ إِنِّي دَخَلْتُ الْبَارِحَةَ الْجَنَّةَ فَسَمِعْتُ خَشْخَشَتَكَ أَمَامِي» فَقَالَ بِلَالٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا أَذَّنْتُ قَطُّ إِلَّا صَلَّيْتُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَمَا أَصَابَنِي حَدَثٌ قَطُّ إِلَّا تَوَضَّأْتُ عِنْدَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «بِهَذَا»

✧ One day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke up and called Bilal, saying, "O Bilal, how have you preceded me to Paradise? Last night I entered Paradise and heard the rustling of your footsteps ahead of me." Bilal said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have never called the adhan but that I prayed two rak'ahs, and I have never had a ritual impurity but that I performed wudu' at that time." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is because of this."
