أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو تُرَابٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُذَكِّرُ بِالنَّوْقَانِ ثنا تَمِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ الزَّاهِدُ ثنا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ ثنا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ
وَجَدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ شَيْئًا فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَثَرَ الْوَجَعِ عَلَيْكَ يَتَبَيَّنُ قَالَ «إِنِّي إِنَّمَا عَلَى مَا تَرَوْنَ بِحَمْدِ اللَّهِ قَدْ قَرَأْتُ السَّبْعَ الطِّوَالَ»

✧ One night the Messenger of Allah ﷺ found something, and when morning came it was said: O Messenger of Allah, the trace of the pain is evident upon you. He said: 'I am only, as you see, by the praise of Allah; I have recited the seven long sūrahs.'
