حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ قَالَ

كُنْتُ عِنْدَ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا ذُو قَرَابَةٍ لَهَا شَابٌّ ذُو جُمَّةٍ فَقَامَ يُصَلِّي فَنَفَخَ فَقَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ لَا تَنْفُخْ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لِعَبْدٍ لَنَا أَسْوَدَ «أَيْ رَبَاحُ تَرِبَ وَجْهُكَ»

✧ I was with Umm Salamah when a young relative of hers with long hair entered. He stood to pray and blew. She said: 'O my son, do not blow, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say to a black slave of ours: "O Rabāḥ, may your face be dusty."
