أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ زُرَيْعٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ قَالَتْ

كُنَّا نَكُونُ فِي حِجْرِهَا فَكَانَتْ إِحْدَانَا تَحِيضُ ثُمَّ تَطْهُرُ فَتَغْتَسِلُ وَتُصَلِّي ثُمَّ تَنْكُسُهَا الصُّفْرَةُ الْيَسِيرَةُ «فَتَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نَعْتَزِلَ الصَّلَاةَ حَتَّى لَا نَرَى إِلَّا الْبَيَاضَ خَالِصًا»

Translation

✧ We used to be under her care, and one of us would menstruate, then become pure and perform ghusl and pray, then slight yellowness would return to her, and she would command us to abstain from prayer until we saw nothing but pure whiteness.
