✧ In the death of the Prophet ﷺ

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ قَالَتْ
يَا أَنَسُ كَيْفَ طَابَتْ أَنْفُسُكُمْ أَنْ تَحْثُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ التُّرَابَ؟ وَقَالَتْ يَا أَبَتَاهْ مِنْ رَبِّهِ مَا أَدْنَاهْ وَا أَبَتَاهْ جَنَّةُ الْفِرْدَوْسِ مَأْوَاهْ وَا أَبَتَاهْ إِلَى جِبْرِيلَ نَنْعَاهْ وَا أَبَتَاهْ أَجَابَ رَبًّا دَعَاهْ
Translation

✧ O Anas, how could you find it in yourselves to heap dust upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? She said: O my father, from his Lord how near he is! O my father, the Garden of Firdaws is his abode. O my father, to Jibril we announce his death. O my father, he answered a Lord who called him.
