Sunan ad-Darimi 814

✧ In the washing of the menstruating woman

أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى أَنَّ الْقَعْقَاعَ بْنَ حَكِيمٍ أَخْبَرَهُ

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ سَعِيدًا عَنِ الْمُسْتَحَاضَةِ فَقَالَ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي مَا بَقِيَ أَحَدٌ أَعْلَمُ بِهَذَا مِنِّي «إِذَا أَقْبَلَتِ الْحَيْضَةُ فَلْتَدَعِ الصَّلَاةَ وَإِذَا أَدْبَرَتْ فَلْتَغْتَسِلْ وَلْتُصَلِّ»

Translation

✧ He asked Saeed about the woman with prolonged bleeding. He said: 'O son of my brother, no one remains more knowledgeable about this than I. When menstruation begins, let her leave the prayer; when it ends, let her bathe and pray.'
