✧ In the washing of the menstruating woman

أَخْبَرَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ الْقَاسِمِ عَنِ الْمُسْتَحَاضَةِ فَأَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ امْرَأَةً اسْتُحِيضَتْ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأُمِرَتْ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَمَرَهَا؟ قَالَ لَا أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ شَيْئًا قَالَ فَأُمِرَتْ أَنْ «تُؤَخِّرَ الظُّهْرَ وَتُعَجِّلَ الْعَصْرَ وَتَغْتَسِلَ لَهُمَا غُسْلًا وَتُؤَخِّرَ الْمَغْرِبَ وَتُعَجِّلَ الْعِشَاءَ وَتَغْتَسِلَ لَهُمَا غُسْلًا وَتَغْتَسِلَ لِلصُّبْحِ غُسْلًا»

✧ A woman had prolonged bleeding during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and was given instructions. He said: I said to Abd al-Rahman, “Did the Prophet ﷺ instruct her?” He said, “I do not narrate anything to you from the Prophet ﷺ.” He said: So she was instructed to “delay Zuhr and hasten Asr and perform one ghusl for both, delay Maghrib and hasten Isha and perform one ghusl for both, and perform one ghusl for Subh.”
