✧ That he asked Kaʿb al-Aḥbār, “How do you find the description of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the Torah?” Kaʿb said, “We find him as Muhammad son of ʿAbdullāh: he will be born in Makkah, migrate to Ṭābah, and his dominion will be in Syria. He is not obscene, nor loud in the markets. He does not repay evil with evil, but he pardons and forgives. His community are the praisers: they praise Allah in every ease, and they magnify Allah on every highland. They wash their limbs, tie their lower garments around their waists, and form rows in their prayer just as they form rows in battle. Their hum in their mosques is like the hum of bees. Their caller is heard in the expanse of the sky.”
