✧ I placed water for the Prophet ﷺ. He poured it over his hands and began washing his private part with them. When he finished, he wiped them on the ground or on a wall—Sulayman was uncertain—then he rinsed his mouth and sniffed water, washed his face and forearms, and poured water over his head and body. When he finished, he moved aside and washed his feet. I handed him a wrap, but he refused and began shaking off with his hand. She said: So I screened him until he had washed.

machine translationAl-Aʿmash narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Abū Muʿāwiyah, Wakīʿ, Ḥafṣ, ʿĪsā b. Yūnus, al-Thawrī, Abū Ḥamzah al-Sukkarī and Muḥāḍir narrated it from al-Aʿmash, from Sālim, from Kurayb, from Ibn ʿAbbās, from Maymūnah. Abū Wakīʿ narrated it from al-Aʿmash, from Sālim, from Kurayb, from Maymūnah, and he omitted Ibn ʿAbbās from it. The first is more sound (aṣaḥḥ).
