✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by two graves and said, “They are both being punished in their graves, and they are not being punished for something major. One of them used to go about with malicious gossip, and the other used not to protect himself from urine—or from urine.” He said: Then he took a fresh palm branch, broke it, and stuck a piece at the head of each grave. Then he said, “Perhaps it will be lightened for them as long as they do not dry out.”
