✧ I crowded against the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of Hunayn, and on my feet were thick sandals, and I stepped with them on the foot of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He gave me a light blow with a whip in his hand and said, "In the name of Allah, you have hurt me." He said: So I spent the night blaming myself, saying, "I have hurt the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." He said: So I spent a night such as Allah knows. When morning came, suddenly a man was saying, "Where is so-and-so?" He said: I said, "This, by Allah, is what happened from me yesterday." He said: So I went off while I was afraid, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "Indeed you stepped with your sandal on my foot yesterday and hurt me, so I gave you a light blow with the whip. Here are eighty ewes, so take them for it."
