Sunan ad-Darimi 666

✧ The man gives an opinion about something, then reports it to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , and returns to the saying of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ .

أَخْبَرَنَا قَبِيصَةُ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ قَالَ

كَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَقُولُ يَقُومُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ عَنْ سُمَيْعٍ الزَّيَّاتِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «أَقَامَهُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ فَأَخَذَ بِهِ»

Translation

  2. Sufyān
  3. al-Aʿmash

✧ Ibrahim used to say: He stands to his left. Then I narrated to him from Sumay‘ al-Zayyat, from Ibn ‘Abbas, that the Prophet ﷺ made him stand to his right, and he accepted it.
