Translation

✧ “I am the first to take hold of the ring of the gate of Paradise and rattle it.” Anas said, “It is as if I am looking at the hand of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ moving it.” Sufyan described it to us like that, and Abu Abdullah gathered his fingers and moved them. Thabit said to him, “Did you touch the hand of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with your hand?” He said, “Yes.” He said, “Then give it to me so I may kiss it.”
