✧ Avoiding People of Desires, Innovations, and Disputes

أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو قِلَابَةَ

«لَا تُجَالِسُوا أَهْلَ الْأَهْوَاءِ وَلَا تُجَادِلُوهُمْ فَإِنِّي لَا آمَنُ أَنْ يَغْمِسُوكُمْ فِي ضَلَالَتِهِمْ أَوْ يَلْبِسُوا عَلَيْكُمْ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْرِفُونَ»

Translation

  4. Abū Qilābah

✧ Do not sit with people of desires and do not argue with them, for I do not feel safe that they might immerse you in their misguidance or confuse you regarding what you used to know.
