✧ When the Prophet ﷺ came to Madinah, he used to lean his back against a piece of wood and speak to the people. They became numerous around him, and the Prophet ﷺ wanted to make them hear him, so he said, 'Build for me something to stand on.' They said, 'How, O Prophet of Allah?' He said, 'A trellis like the trellis of Musa.' When they built it for him, al-Hasan said, 'By Allah, the piece of wood yearned.' Al-Hasan said, 'Glory be to Allah! Are the hearts of people who heard this being sought?'
