✧ Indeed, alif lam mim tanzil al-kitab, no doubt about it, from the Lord of the worlds, will argue on behalf of its companion in the grave, saying: “O Allah, if I am from Your Book, make me intercede for him; and if I am not from Your Book, erase me from him.” And it becomes like a bird, placing its wing over him, and it intercedes for him and protects him from the punishment of the grave. And in tabaraka alladhi bi yadihi al-mulk there is the like of it. So Khalid did not sleep until he had recited both of them.
