✧ It was said, "O Messenger of Allah, your community will be tested after you." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked, or it was asked, "What is the way out of it?" He said, "The Mighty Book, which falsehood cannot come to it from before it or from behind it, a revelation from the Wise, the Praiseworthy [Quran 41:42]. Whoever seeks guidance in other than it, Allah has led him astray. And whoever takes charge of this matter from a tyrant and judges by other than it, Allah will break him. It is the wise reminder, and the clear light, and the straight path. In it is the news of those before you, and the report of those after you, and the judgment of what is between you. It is the decisive criterion, not a jest. It is that which the jinn heard and did not finish before they said, "Indeed we have heard a wonderful Quran that guides to right conduct" [Quran 72:1-2]. It does not become worn out by much repetition, and its lessons do not cease, and its wonders do not perish." Then Ali said to al-Harith, "Take it, O one-eyed."
