حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ
«لَا يُوَرَّثُ الْمَوْلُودُ حَتَّى يَسْتَهِلَّ وَلَا يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَسْتَهِلَّ فَإِذَا اسْتَهَلَّ صُلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ وَوُرِّثَ وَكُمِّلَتِ الدِّيَةُ»

✧ A newborn is not inherited from until he cries, and no funeral prayer is offered over him until he cries. When he cries, prayer is offered over him, he is inherited from, and the full blood money is paid.
