✧ In the Inheritance of the Prisoner

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ حَدَّثَنِي مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ

فِي الْأَسِيرِ يُوصِي قَالَ «أُجِيزُ لَهُ وَصِيَّتَهُ مَا دَامَ عَلَى دِينِهِ لَمْ يَتَغَيَّرْ عَنْ دِينِهِ»

✧ Concerning the prisoner who makes a bequest, he said: “I permit his bequest as long as he remains upon his religion and has not changed from his religion.”
