✧ In the inheritance of the cursed son.

أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا وَابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَا

فِي وَلَدِ الْمُلَاعَنَةٍ تَرَكَ جَدَّتَهُ وَإِخْوَتَهُ لِأُمِّهِ قَالَ «لِلْجَدَّةِ الثُّلُثُ وَلِلْإِخْوَةِ الثُّلُثَانِ» وقَالَ زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ «لِلْجَدَّةِ السُّدُسُ وَلِلْإِخْوَةِ لِلْأُمِّ الثُّلُثُ وَمَا بَقِيَ فَلِبَيْتِ الْمَالِ»

✧ About the child of a woman who was cursed by her husband, who leaves his grandmother and his maternal brothers: He said: "The grandmother gets one-third and the brothers get two-thirds." Zayd b. Thabit said: "The grandmother gets one-sixth, the maternal brothers get one-third, and whatever remains goes to the public treasury."
