✧ “Whoever enters the market and says: There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner; His is the dominion and His is the praise; He gives life and causes death, and He is ever-living and does not die; in His hand is all good, and He is over all things capable — Allah will record for him a thousand thousand good deeds, and erase from him a thousand thousand bad deeds, and raise him a thousand thousand degrees.” He said, “Then I came to Khurasan and met Qutaybah b. Muslim, and I said, ‘I have brought you a gift,’ and I narrated it to him. So he would ride out in his procession, come to the market, stand there and say it, then return.”
