machine translationMālik b. Anas narrated it, and there is disagreement about it from him. Wakīʿ narrated it from Mālik, from ʿAbdullāh b. Yazīd, from Ibn Niyār, from ʿUrwah, from ʿĀʾishah, and Wakīʿ erred in it. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Mahdī, Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān, Bishr b. ʿUmar and Ibn Wahb contradicted him; they narrated it from Mālik, from al-Faḍl b. Abī ʿAbdillāh, from ʿAbdullāh b. Niyār, from ʿUrwah, from ʿĀʾishah, and this is the correct version.
