أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَنَفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
«مَا مِنْ نَفْسٍ تَمُوتُ فَتَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ فَتَوَدُّ أَنَّهَا رَجَعَتْ إِلَيْكُمْ وَلَهَا الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا إِلَّا الشَّهِيدَ فَإِنَّهُ يَوَدُّ أَنَّهُ قُتِلَ كَذَا مَرَّةً لِمَا رَأَى مِنَ الثَّوَابِ»

✧ “There is no soul that dies and enters Paradise and wishes that it returned to you, even if it had the world and what it contains, except the martyr; for he wishes that he were killed again and again, because of what he has seen of the reward.”
