Sunan ad-Darimi 244

✧ Beware of narrating the Prophet's hadith (sayings) and verifying them.

أَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بِشْرٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

Translation
