✧ When a fly falls into the vessel of any of you, let him immerse it, for in one of its wings there is disease and in the other there is healing.
Notes

machine translationThere is disagreement about it on the authority of Thumāmah. ʿAbdullāh b. al-Muthannā narrated it from his uncle Thumāmah, from Anas, from the Prophet ﷺ. Ḥammād b. Salamah differed from him and narrated it from Thumāmah, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ. Both statements are plausible.
