✧ Mu'adh ibn Jabal said, "The Quran will be spread among the people until women, children, and men read it. A man will say, 'I have read the Quran, yet I am not followed. By Allah, I will act upon it in their midst so that I may be followed.' So he acts upon it among them, but he is not followed. Then he says, 'I have read the Quran, yet I have not been followed. I have acted upon it in their midst, yet I have not been followed. I will create a mosque in my house so that I may be followed.' So he makes a mosque in his house, but he is not followed. Then he says, 'I have read the Quran, yet I have not been followed. I have acted upon it in their midst, yet I have not been followed. I have made a mosque in my house, yet I have not been followed. By Allah, I will bring them a hadith that they will not find in the Book of Allah, Glorious and Exalted, and they have not heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ so that I may be followed.' Mu'adh said, 'Beware of what he brings, for what he brings is misguidance.'"
