✧ Tell me about the evening when you rode behind the Prophet ﷺ; how did you do or act? He said: We came to the valley where the people make their camels kneel for the night halt. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ made his she-camel kneel, then he urinated - and he did not say he poured water - then he called for water for ablution and performed a not very thorough ablution. Then I said: O Messenger of Allah, the prayer. He said: "The prayer is ahead of you." So he rode until we came to Muzdalifah, then he performed the iqamah for Maghrib, then he made his camel kneel while the people were in their dwellings, and they did not dismount until he performed the iqamah for the later Isha and prayed. Then the people dismounted. He said: I said: Tell me how you did when morning came? He said: Al-Fadl b. Abbas rode behind him, and I went on foot among the front-runners of Quraysh.
