Sunan ad-Darimi 1895

✧ The Remembrance in Tawaf and Sai between Safa and Marwa

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ وَرَمْيُ الْجِمَارِ وَالسَّعْيُ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ لِإِقَامَةِ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ»

Translation

✧ Tawaf around the House, the stoning of the jamarat, and the sa'i between al-Safa and al-Marwah were only prescribed to establish the remembrance of Allah.
