✧ Al-Miswar b. Makhramah and Ibn Abbas differed about a muhrim washing his head, so they sent me to Abu Ayyub al-Ansari: How did you see the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wash his head while in ihram? I came to Abu Ayyub while he was between the two posts of the well, covered with a cloth. I greeted him, and he drew the cloth to himself. I said, “Your nephew Ibn Abbas sent me to you: How did you see the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wash his head?” He passed his hands over his head, forward and back.
