✧ When fasting, if one eats in their presence

أَخْبَرَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حَبِيبٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَوْلَاةً لَنَا يُقَالُ لَهَا لَيْلَى تُحَدِّثُ عَنْ جَدَّتِهَا أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ بِنْتِ كَعْبٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَدَعَتْ لَهُ بِطَعَامٍ فَقَالَ لَهَا «كُلِي» فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي صَائِمَةٌ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنَّ الصَّائِمَ إِذَا أُكِلَ عِنْدَهُ صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يَفْرُغُوا وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ حَتَّى يَقْضُوا أَكْلَهُمْ
Translation

✧ That the Prophet ﷺ entered upon her and she called for food for him. He said to her, "Eat." She said, "I am fasting." The Prophet ﷺ said, "When food is eaten in the presence of a fasting person, the angels send blessings upon him until they finish," and perhaps he said, "until they finish their eating."
